I began to write as a child in Shaker Heights, OH, and never managed to put down my pen. At Columbia University, I studied creative writing and American studies. I recently graduated with an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Nevada, Reno.

Today, I live in Washington, DC, with an extraordinary community of friends. D.J. Rosenblum Becomes the G.O.A.T. is my debut novel.

Fun Facts:

• My friends know me for my baking — especially challah and cookies. I’ve sent them across continents!

• For 20 years, I had the world’s most beautiful cat, a tuxedo named Kiara. (Really, she had me.)

• I’m obsessed with elephants. Today, I have a collection of more than 400 elephant objects and counting!
